Description
Heza means “beautiful place” in Kirundi, the language of Burundi, and it’s easy to imagine why. The Heza Washing Station sits at nearly 2000 meters above sea level among lush hills spreading in all directions and the Kibira rainforest in the distance. The coffee produced here is equally beautiful. Bourbon varieties are diligently washed and undergo a double fermentation, adding zing to an already vibrant cup. Juicy orange, persimmon, and tamarind exude from a cup anchored by light brown sugar sweetness.
